Stade Marcel-Deflandre

RC Vannes secured a notable away victory against Stade Rochelais, finishing 23-14. The match began with a strong start from Rochelais, as Lespiaucq scored a try in the 15th minute, successfully converted by West. However, Vannes responded quickly; Pedemonte scored a try in the 33rd minute and converted it himself, bringing the scores to level. In the second half, Lespiaucq crossed the line again for Rochelais, but Vannes's Ruru scored shortly after, maintaining their lead. Lafage was pivotal for Vannes, converting two tries and adding crucial penalties, contributing to their 23 points. Despite several substitutions and a strong team effort, Rochelais could not overcome Vannes's resilience. The victory highlighted Vannes's ability to capitalize on opportunities and showcased their effective game management.
