In a thrilling encounter at Murrayfield, Argentina triumphed over Scotland with a score of 33-24. Scotland started strong, with Dempsey scoring an early try, followed by successful conversions from Russell. However, the tide turned in the second half as Argentina responded with tries from Montoya, Isgro, and Rubiolo, showcasing their attacking prowess. Key player Santiago Carreras was instrumental, converting multiple tries and maintaining pressure on Scotland's defense. Scotland's Kinghorn received a yellow card, which hampered their efforts to regain control. Despite Ashman’s two tries, Scotland couldn't keep pace with Argentina's relentless scoring. Ultimately, Argentina’s resilience secured their victory in this high-stakes friendly.
