Stade Pierre Fabre

Union Bordeaux-Bègles defeated Castres Olympique 13-3 at Stade Pierre Fabre. Joey Carbery opened the scoring with a penalty in the 14th minute. Castres struggled to convert opportunities, with Dumora missing a drop goal early on. Bordeaux extended their lead with another Carbery penalty and a well-worked try by Yoram Moefana just before half-time, followed by Carbery's conversion. The second half saw Castres unable to break through a solid Bordeaux defense, despite several substitutions aimed at changing momentum. Bordeaux maintained their composure and controlled the game, limiting Castres to just three points from a penalty by Le Brun. Ultimately, Bordeaux’s disciplined play and effective scoring made the difference in this encounter.
