Italy delivered a commanding performance against Namibia, securing a decisive 66-6 victory at Hage Geingob Stadium. The match began with a yellow card for Namibia's van der Westhuizen, leading to an immediate penalty try for Italy. Trulla was instrumental for Italy, scoring two tries, while Giacomo Da Re consistently converted their opportunities, finishing with a perfect kicking record. Namibia struggled to keep pace, managing only two penalties from Swanepoel in the first half. Italy's relentless attack continued after halftime, with Spagnolo and Varney adding to the scoreline. Despite the score, Namibia showcased resilience, but their defense was overwhelmed by Italy's fluid play. The match highlighted Italy's strength and depth, while Namibia will need to regroup ahead of future challenges.
