South Africa vs Australia head to head
South Africa triumphed over Australia with a score of 30-22 in a thrilling Championship clash at DHL Stadium. Handre Pollard was instrumental for the Springboks, scoring 20 points from penalties and conversions. The match swung early with a try from Australia’s Corey Toole, quickly answered by South Africa's Canan Moodie. Kwagga Smith added to South Africa's efforts with a try before halftime, helping them lead 21-10. After the break, Max Jorgensen pulled Australia closer with a try, but South Africa responded with a powerful try from Eben Etzebeth. Despite late pressure, a yellow card for Aphelele Fassi didn’t derail the home side’s win. The victory marked a crucial bounce-back for South Africa after their previous defeat to Australia.
