Northampton Saints secured a convincing 41-21 victory over Bath Rugby at the Recreation Ground. The match opened with Tommy Freeman scoring an early try for the Saints, followed by a conversion from Anthony Belleau. Bath responded quickly, with Thomas du Toit and Tom Dunn both crossing the try line, aided by Finn Russell's sharp kicking. The Saints' Ed Prowse received a yellow card but managed to regroup and saw Archie McParland score shortly after. In the second half, Freeman added two more tries to his tally, showcasing his speed and finishing ability. Bath's Dan Frost received a yellow card as tensions rose, but the Saints capitalized on their man advantage. Ultimately, Belleau's strong performance with the boot and the Saints' relentless attack secured them a well-deserved victory.
