Northampton Saints triumphed over Sale Sharks with a decisive score of 43-29 at CorpAcq Stadium. The Saints started strongly, scoring two early tries through Freeman and Hutchinson, both converted by Belleau. Sale responded with a try from Quirke, but Tom Curry's yellow card in the first half hampered their momentum. Just before halftime, Carpenter's try narrowed the gap, leaving the score at 19-14. The second half saw Northampton extend their lead with tries from Smith and Todaro, before Sale's O'Flaherty answered back with a try of his own. However, further tries from Kemeny, Coles, and Pollock for the Saints sealed their victory. Ford's consistent kicking kept Sale competitive, but they couldn't match the Saints' attacking prowess.
