In a tightly contested match at Sandy Park, Northampton Saints triumphed over Exeter Chiefs with a score of 35-28. The Chiefs started strong, with Immanuel Feyi-Waboso and Will Rigg scoring early tries, both converted by Henry Slade. However, the Saints responded quickly, with Alex Mitchell and Ollie Sleightholme crossing the line to keep the game competitive. Fin Smith's accurate kicking proved crucial for the Saints, as he converted all of his team's tries, including a vital score from George Furbank in the second half. Late in the match, Paul Brown-Bampoe scored for Exeter, but it wasn't enough to secure a comeback. The game turned on yellow cards for the Chiefs, which allowed Northampton to exploit the numerical advantage. Ultimately, Fin Smith's late try sealed the victory for the Saints, continuing their strong performance in the Premiership.
