In a thrilling Premiership clash, Newcastle Red Bulls triumphed over Sale Sharks with a score of 45-42. Sale started strong, with Tom Roebuck and Seb Kelly both scoring tries early on, supported by George Ford's accurate kicking. However, the Red Bulls responded quickly, with Tom Christie and Amanaki Lelei Mafi crossing the line to keep the pressure on. The match saw Alex Hearle shine for Newcastle, scoring two tries and contributing significantly to the team's attack. The second half continued with both sides trading scores, but Newcastle's resilience and late push proved decisive. Ben Healy's conversions were crucial in maintaining the Red Bulls' narrow lead. This victory marked a significant turnaround for Newcastle after a series of defeats against Sale.
