Stage: Regular Season Round 14

Stade Pierre Fabre

Castres Olympique edged out Section Paloise 24-19 in a closely contested match at Stade Pierre Fabre. The home side took an early lead with a try from Babillot, converted by Fernandez. Simmonds responded with penalties for Paloise, keeping the score tight. A pivotal moment came when Dumora scored for Castres shortly after a yellow card for Hewat. Despite a late try from Grandidier for Paloise, Simmonds' conversion was not enough to bridge the gap. Fernandez's consistent kicking and Popelin's drop goal contributed significantly to Castres' tally. Ultimately, the home side managed to hold on for the win, showcasing resilience against a determined Paloise side.
