Stage: Regular Season Round 2
Principality Stadium
France delivered a commanding performance against Wales, finishing with a score of 54-12 at the Principality Stadium. Emilien Gailleton opened the scoring with a try in the first minute, quickly followed by successful conversions from Thomas Ramos. Wales responded with a try from Rhys Carre, but France continued to dominate, with additional tries from Bielle-Biarrey, Brau-Boirie, and Jalibert, leading 28-7 at halftime. The second half saw further tries from Marchand, Attissogbe, and Ollivon, showcasing France's attacking prowess. Ramos was instrumental, converting all but one of the tries. Mason Grady managed a late consolation try for Wales, but it was too little against a relentless French side. Overall, France's superior execution and physicality overwhelmed the home team throughout the match.
