Wales secured a convincing 31-17 victory over Italy in the Six Nations clash at Principality Stadium. Aaron Wainwright was the standout performer for Wales, scoring two tries in the first half, both converted by Dan Edwards who also added a drop goal later. Dewi Lake contributed with another try, helping Wales build a commanding 21-0 lead by halftime. Italy responded shortly after the break with a try from Tommaso Di Bartolomeo, converted by Paolo Garbisi. However, Edwards quickly reasserted Wales' dominance with another try and a drop goal. Italy's late resurgence included a try from Garbisi, but it was not enough to threaten Wales. The match showcased Wales' attacking prowess and solidified their position in the tournament.
