Stage: Regular Season Round 14

GGL Stadium

Montpellier secured a commanding 42-10 victory over Bayonne at GGL Stadium. The home side opened the scoring early with a try from Moorby, followed by a penalty and another try by Reinach, showcasing their attacking prowess. Stuart Hogg contributed significantly with his reliable kicking, converting multiple tries and adding to the score with a try of his own. Bayonne's Capilla received a yellow card and later a red card, further diminishing their chances of competing. Despite the numerical disadvantage, Bayonne managed a late first-half try from Capilla, but it was not enough to shift momentum. Montpellier continued to dominate in the second half, with tries from Ngandebe and Tolofua solidifying their lead. The match highlighted Montpellier's offensive strategy and Hogg's pivotal role in orchestrating play.
