The match featured a strong performance from Lyon’s fly half Paddy Jackson, who converted all but one try and contributed significantly to their scoring. Monty Ioane shone for Lyon, scoring two tries, while Iosefo Masi added another two to the tally. Stade Francais’ Louis Carbonel kept his side in the contest with a try and multiple penalties, showcasing his kicking prowess. The game swung in Lyon's favor with a flurry of tries early in the second half, including Baptiste Couilloud's quick score just after halftime. Despite a late surge from Stade Francais, Lyon held on to secure the victory. The result marked a significant win for Lyon, avenging their previous defeat to Stade Francais earlier in the year.
