ASM Clermont Auvergne delivered a stunning performance against US Montauban, finishing the match with an impressive score of 84-31. Barnabe Massa opened the scoring with an early try, quickly followed by Joris Jurand, setting the tone for a dominant first half. Harry Plummer shone as the fly half, converting all but one of Clermont's tries and scoring one himself. Montauban briefly fought back with tries from Jerome Bosviel and Sikhumbuzo Notshe, but Clermont responded decisively each time. The home side capitalized on Montauban's ill-discipline, with two yellow cards issued to the visitors contributing to their downfall. Clermont's depth was evident as they continued to score at will, with contributions from players like Leon Darricarrere and Axel Guillaud. The match concluded with Clermont solidifying their position at the top of the Top 14 standings.
