Stade Matmut-Atlantique

Union Bordeaux-Bègles delivered a commanding performance against Bayonne, securing a decisive 41-12 victory. The home side opened the scoring early with a try from Bielle-Biarrey, converted by Lucu, setting the tone for the match. Penaud added two tries, showcasing his finishing ability, while Rayasi also crossed the line, with Lucu converting all four attempts. Bayonne managed to score a try through Maqala just before halftime, but the deficit was already significant at 30-7. The second half saw Bordeaux-Bègles maintain their dominance, with a try from Mousques and another from Barlot, sealing the game. Bayonne's late effort from Tiberghien was merely a consolation. Lucu's exceptional kicking and leadership were pivotal in Bordeaux-Bègles' victory, as they avenged their previous loss to Bayonne earlier in the year.
