Union Bordeaux-Bègles secured a 28-19 victory against Castres Olympique in a tightly contested Top 14 match. Early penalties from Carbery put Bordeaux in a commanding position. However, Castres responded with a try from Guerois-Galisson, converted by Popelin, bringing the score to 10-6. Just before halftime, Bordeaux's Buros scored a try, followed by another successful conversion from Carbery to lead 13-10 at the break. In the second half, Castres' Hulleu and Arata contributed tries, but Bordeaux's Tameifuna and Sa also found the try line, maintaining their advantage. The match featured strong performances from Carbery and Popelin, although Bordeaux's effective substitutions helped seal the win. Ultimately, Bordeaux continued their recent dominance over Castres in their head-to-head encounters.
