Racing 92 secured a commanding 49-27 victory against Bayonne in a thrilling Top 14 clash. Bayonne drew first blood with an early try from Leota, converted by Segonds. Racing quickly responded, with tries from Baudonne and Spring, both converted by Gibert, putting them in front. Despite a strong performance from Bayonne's Germain and Bruni, Racing's attacking prowess shone through. The home side scored multiple tries in quick succession, including a brace from Spring and a late effort from Hulleu. Bayonne's attempts to close the gap were thwarted as Racing maintained their lead throughout. The victory marked a significant improvement for Racing, avenging their previous draw against Bayonne earlier in the season.
