Stade du Hameau

Section Paloise triumphed over ASM Clermont Auvergne with a score of 20-14 in a closely contested match at Stade du Hameau. The home side took an early lead, with Joe Simmonds contributing with penalties before the halftime break. Clermont responded just after halftime with a try from Anthime Hemery, converted by Anthony Belleau, narrowing the gap. However, Theo Attissogbe scored a pivotal try for Paloise, followed by a penalty try that further solidified their advantage. Clermont's Rob Simmons received a yellow card, which hampered their comeback efforts. Although Pierre Fouyssac scored a late try for Clermont, it wasn't enough to change the outcome. Simmonds' steady kicking and Paloise's defensive resilience ultimately secured the victory.
