Pau vs Montpellier head to head

馃憦 1

Section Paloise edged out Montpellier Herault Rugby 35-33 in a nail-biting Top 14 clash at Stade du Hameau. The home team took an early lead, with tries from Maximin and Mondinat, while Desperes added crucial penalties and conversions. Montpellier responded with tries from Riccitelli and Taofifenua, keeping the match competitive. A yellow card to Maximin briefly hampered Paloise, but Mondinat's second try solidified their advantage. In the second half, Facundo Isa's try and Desperes' conversions extended the lead to 35-26. However, late tries from Price and Piccardo brought Montpellier to within two points. Despite their efforts, the away team couldn't secure a win, and Section Paloise celebrated a hard-fought victory.
