Stage: Regular Season Round 14

Septeo Stadium

Montpellier secured a commanding victory over Bayonne with a final score of 62-22 at Septeo Stadium. Arthur Vincent opened the scoring with a try, quickly followed by Tom Banks and Christopher Tolofua, who each crossed the line twice. Domingo Miotti was instrumental, contributing significantly with his kicking, converting all but one of Montpellier's tries and adding a penalty. Bayonne managed to respond with a try from Tom Spring late in the first half, but they struggled to keep pace with Montpellier's offensive onslaught. The second half saw further tries from Miotti and Alexander Masibaka, ensuring Montpellier maintained their dominance. Despite a yellow card to Wilfrid Hounkpatin, Montpellier's resilience shone through. This victory marked a strong statement from Montpellier, especially after their previous loss to Bayonne earlier in the season.
