Section Paloise secured a convincing 27-15 victory against Castres Olympique at Stade du Hameau. The match began with an early penalty from Simmonds, setting the tone for the home side. Gailleton's try shortly after showcased Paloise's attacking prowess, followed by Zegueur extending their lead with another try just after halftime. Castres fought back through Botitu and Colonna, but their efforts were hampered by a yellow card to Ducat. Simmonds continued to shine, contributing crucial penalties throughout the match. Despite a spirited attempt from Castres, particularly from Herve, they couldn't close the gap. Paloise's disciplined performance ultimately earned them a well-deserved home victory.
