Montpellier Herault Rugby secured a 25-15 victory against Stade Français Paris at the Orange Velodrome. Domingo Miotti opened the scoring for Montpellier with a penalty, but Stade Français quickly equalized through Louis Carbonel. Tom Banks then scored a try for Montpellier, which was converted by Miotti, giving them a 10-3 lead. Stade Français responded with two quick tries from Tawera Kerr-Barlow and Peniasi Dakuwaqa, taking a brief 15-10 advantage. However, Miotti's kicking prowess kept Montpellier in contention, scoring multiple penalties to regain the lead. The yellow card for Paul Alo-Emile of Stade Français proved costly, allowing Montpellier to capitalize on the numerical advantage. Ultimately, Montpellier's discipline and strong kicking from Miotti solidified their victory.
