Stage: Regular Season Round 2

Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi

Zebre Parma narrowly defeated the Lions 22-20 in a thrilling URC encounter at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi. Bautista Stavile opened the scoring for Zebre with a try in the 11th minute, followed by another from Tommaso Di Bartolomeo in the 34th, with Giacomo Da Re converting both attempts. The Lions responded with tries from SJ Kotze and Eduan Keyter, with Lubabalo Dobela successfully converting the latter. A yellow card for Samuele Locatelli in the second half momentarily hampered Zebre's momentum, allowing the Lions to capitalize with a try from Morne Brandon. Zebre's late surge saw Matteo Nocera score a crucial try, which was converted by Martin Roger, sealing the victory. The match showcased strong performances from both teams, with the home side managing to hold on despite late pressure from the Lions. Ultimately, Zebre avenged their previous narrow loss to the Lions earlier in the season.
