Stage: Regular Season Round 17

Stade de la Rabine

RC Vannes secured a commanding 37-24 victory against Montpellier Herault Rugby at Stade de la Rabine. The home side took an early lead with tries from Ruru, Surano, and Moukoro, all converted by Lafage, establishing a 24-6 advantage by halftime. Montpellier struggled under pressure, receiving multiple yellow cards, including Verhaeghe and Becognee, which limited their defensive options. In the second half, Lafage continued his excellent kicking performance, adding penalties to extend Vannes' lead. Although Montpellier rallied with a penalty try and late scores from Simmonds and Doan, it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit. Vannes' strong performance was highlighted by Lafage's precision and Moukoro's impactful play. The win showcased Vannes' attacking prowess and solidified their position in the league standings.
