The Lions secured an impressive 49-31 victory over Ulster Rugby at Ellis Park. SJ Kotze opened the scoring with an early try, successfully converted by Chris William Smith. Ulster responded quickly with tries from Robert Baloucoune and James Hume, keeping the pressure on the home side. However, the Lions pulled ahead with strong performances from Eduan Keyter and Ruan Venter, both crossing the line. Despite Ulster's efforts, including a hat-trick from Baloucoune, the Lions' scoring spree continued, with Renzo Du Plessis and Conraad van Vuuren adding to the total. Chris William Smith's kicking was instrumental, contributing several conversions and penalties. The match concluded with a try from Morne Brandon, solidifying the Lions' dominance.
