In a closely contested match at Hive Stadium, the Bulls triumphed over Edinburgh Rugby with a score of 19-17. Edinburgh started strong, with Duhan van der Merwe scoring a try early on, followed by Pierre Schoeman and D'Arcy Rae adding to their lead. However, the Bulls responded swiftly, with Marcell Coetzee and Johan Grobbelaar crossing the line, keeping the pressure on Edinburgh. Handre Pollard's accurate kicking brought the Bulls back into contention, especially after Marco van Staden's decisive try in the second half. Edinburgh's Ross Thompson converted key tries, but it wasn’t enough to secure victory. The match was played under challenging conditions, with drizzle affecting handling and visibility. Ultimately, the Bulls claimed the win, continuing their strong form in the URC.
