Bayonne secured a commanding 31-18 victory over ASM Clermont Auvergne at Stade Jean Dauger. Lucas Paulos opened the scoring with an early try, converted by Joris Segonds, who also added a drop goal later in the half. Clermont's Benjamin Urdapilleta managed to put points on the board with penalties, but Bayonne maintained their momentum with tries from Swan Cormenier and a penalty from Segonds. The second half saw Clermont's Folau Fainga'a score a try, but Bayonne responded with a crucial try from Baptiste Germain. A red card for Bayonne's Federico Mori did not derail their performance, as they held their lead. Clermont's Yerim Fall added a late try, but it was not enough to change the outcome.
