Leinster Rugby secured a 28-20 victory over Edinburgh Rugby in a closely contested URC match at Aviva Stadium. The hosts took an early lead with a try from Deegan, followed by Tector's conversion. Edinburgh responded quickly, with van der Merwe scoring their first try, but Hunter-Hill's yellow card hampered their momentum. As the first half closed, Satala-Navlivou added a second try for Edinburgh, leaving the score at 14-13 at halftime. In the second half, Penny's impressive performance, scoring two tries, helped Leinster extend their lead. Tector's accurate kicking ensured the home side remained ahead, despite Shiel's late try for Edinburgh. Ultimately, Leinster's strong defense and clinical finishing saw them claim a well-deserved win.
