Matmut Stadium de Gerland

Lyon secured a hard-fought 27-20 victory over RC Toulon at the Matmut Stadium de Gerland. The home side took an early lead with a penalty from Berdeu, followed by a flurry of tries, including two from Botha and one from Chat, establishing a 27-6 advantage by halftime. Toulon struggled initially, losing Baubigny to a yellow card, which limited their options. In the second half, Jaminet's try and conversion sparked a comeback attempt for Toulon, narrowing the gap to 27-20. Lyon's defense held firm despite a late yellow card to Gouzou. Berdeu's kicking accuracy was pivotal, converting all of Lyon's tries. Ultimately, Lyon's strong first-half performance proved decisive in clinching the win.
