The Sharks triumphed over Cardiff Rugby with a score of 21-15 in a closely contested URC match. Phepsi Buthelezi set the tone early with a try in the fifth minute, followed by a conversion from Jordan Hendrikse. Cardiff responded quickly with a try from Mason Grady, who scored twice in the first half, bringing them level at 12-10. Buthelezi added his second try shortly after, extending the Sharks' lead to 17-12 before Yaw Penxe crossed for another try just before halftime. In the second half, both teams showed resilience, but Cardiff's attempts to narrow the gap saw them struggle against a solid Sharks defense. Ioan Lloyd's penalty brought Cardiff within six points, but they couldn't find the breakthrough needed to claim victory. The Sharks secured their win, building on their previous success against Cardiff earlier in the season.
