The Bulls narrowly defeated Munster Rugby 34-31 in a thrilling encounter at Loftus Versfeld. Munster struck first with a try from O'Brien, converted by Crowley, but the Bulls quickly responded with two tries from Papier and Moodie, both converted by Pollard. A yellow card for Nortje momentarily hampered the Bulls, allowing Munster to capitalize with a try from Ahern. In the second half, Ahern added another try for Munster, but the Bulls maintained pressure with a swift response from Papier. Jooste's try extended the Bulls' lead, and Pollard's penalties kept the scoreboard ticking. Munster fought back with late tries from O'Connor and Edogbo, but the Bulls held on for the win. This match highlighted the resilience of both teams, with Pollard's kicking proving decisive for the Bulls.
