Lions vs Dragons head to head

🎉 1

The Lions claimed a convincing victory over Dragons RFC with a final score of 42-26 at Ellis Park. Sibabalwe Mahashe opened the scoring early with a try, followed by contributions from Richard Kriel and Chris William Smith, who not only scored tries but also converted several. Aneurin Owen kept the Dragons competitive with two tries, supported by Angus O'Brien's accurate kicking. The turning point came when Rio Dyer received a yellow card, hampering the Dragons' momentum. The Lions capitalized on their numerical advantage, scoring multiple tries in the second half, including a brace from Nico Steyn. Despite a late try from Dyer, the Lions' strong performance secured their dominance. This match continued the Lions' successful streak against the Dragons, who have struggled to match their rivals in recent encounters.
