The Ospreys triumphed 21-17 over the Sharks in a closely contested match at Electric Brewery Field. Dan Edwards opened the scoring for the Ospreys with an early try and conversion, showcasing his pivotal role as fly half. The Sharks responded with a try from Phepsi Buthelezi, followed by another from Ethan Hooker before halftime, narrowing the Ospreys' lead. The second half saw Garyn Phillips extend the Ospreys' advantage with a well-timed try, again converted by Edwards. Buthelezi struck back for the Sharks with his second try, demonstrating his impact as a dynamic loose forward. Despite a late surge from the Sharks, the Ospreys held on for victory, aided by strong defensive efforts. This match marked a significant turnaround for the Ospreys after their previous loss to the Sharks last season.
