Hive Stadium

Edinburgh Rugby secured a thrilling 33-28 victory over the Sharks in a closely contested URC match at Hive Stadium. The Sharks took an early lead with a try from Edwill van der Merwe, converted by Jean Smith. However, Edinburgh responded strongly, with Ewan Ashman and Glen Young both crossing the line, complemented by conversions from Cammy Scott. A second try from Mosese Tuipulotu and a brace from Darcy Graham helped Edinburgh build a commanding lead in the second half. The Sharks fought back with tries from Vincent Koch and Vincent Tshituka, keeping the pressure on until the final whistle. Despite a spirited effort, the Sharks fell just short, unable to secure a late equalizer. This match marked a significant turnaround for Edinburgh, avenging their previous narrow defeat to the Sharks.
