Cardiff Rugby secured a hard-fought 22-16 victory over the Stormers at Cardiff Arms Park. The match began with Cardiff's Liam Belcher receiving an early yellow card, allowing Adre Smith to score a try for the Stormers shortly after. Cardiff responded with three tries, including a notable performance from Jacob Beetham, who scored one of the tries. Ioan Lloyd's kicking was crucial, converting two tries and adding a penalty to give Cardiff a strong lead. Despite a late surge from the Stormers, including a penalty from Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, they could not close the gap. Cardiff's defense held firm, culminating in a yellow card for Dafydd Hughes just before the final whistle. The victory marked a significant turnaround for Cardiff after losing to the Stormers in their previous encounter.
