Connacht Rugby secured a convincing 26-5 victory over Edinburgh Rugby at Hive Stadium. Josh Ioane opened the scoring with a try in the 23rd minute, followed by Shamus Hurley-Langton who added another just before halftime. Sam Gilbert's conversions were critical, and he converted both of Hurley-Langton's tries, giving Connacht a solid 14-0 lead at the break. The second half saw Hurley-Langton score his second try, further extending the lead. Matthew Devine added a fourth try for Connacht, with Gilbert successfully converting once again. Edinburgh's only response came from Ewan Ashman, who scored a late try but could not convert. Connacht's powerful performance highlighted their dominance and secured them a crucial win in the URC competition.
