Leinster Rugby showcased their dominance with a resounding 59-10 victory over the Lions at the Aviva Stadium. Dan Sheehan opened the scoring early with a try, followed by Hugo Keenan and James Ryan adding to the tally, all converted by Sam Prendergast. Despite a brief response from the Lions through Henco van Wyk, Leinster maintained control, with Prendergast also scoring a try himself. The second half saw further tries from Scott Penny, Gus McCarthy, and two from James Lowe, with Prendergast's boot consistently adding conversions. The Lions struggled to contain Leinster's attack, particularly in the face of discipline issues, as evidenced by yellow cards against their players. Prendergast's performance was particularly noteworthy, contributing significantly to the scoreline. This match highlighted Leinster's continued superiority over the Lions in recent encounters.
