Stade Jean Dauger

Bayonne secured a convincing 28-14 victory against Lyon at Stade Jean Dauger. The home side opened the scoring with a try from Rouet in the ninth minute, establishing control early on. Segonds added penalties throughout the first half, while Tatafu extended the lead with a second try just after the first quarter. Lyon struggled to respond, managing only two penalties from Berdeu before halftime. In the second half, Erbinartegaray and Tiberghien scored further tries for Bayonne, solidifying their dominance. Lyon's Tchaptchet finally crossed the line in the 65th minute, but it was too little, too late. Bayonne's strong performance and tactical execution led them to a well-deserved victory.
