Castres Olympique secured a narrow 28-26 victory over RC Toulon in a closely contested Top 14 match. Louis Le Brun opened the scoring for the home side with a penalty, but Toulon's Jules Coulon quickly responded with a try. Castres surged ahead shortly after with tries from Santiago Arata, Vilimoni Botitu, and Christian Ambadiang, supported by Le Brun's conversions. Toulon fought back with tries from Gianmarco Lucchesi and Jiuta Wainiqolo, the latter scoring twice to keep the pressure on. Key moments included a yellow card for Arata, which temporarily reduced Castres to 14 men. Despite Toulon's late efforts, including a conversion from Melvyn Jaminet, they fell just short of clinching victory. This win marked a significant rebound for Castres after their previous defeat to Toulon earlier in the season.
