The New Zealand Women delivered a commanding performance against Spain Women, winning 54-8 in the Women's World Cup. Jorja Miller was a standout player, scoring two tries in quick succession within the first 16 minutes, both converted by Renee Holmes. Liana Mikaele-Tu'u added to the home team’s tally, while Spain managed to score only a penalty through Amalia Argudo before halftime. After the break, Ayesha Leti-I'iga and Georgia Ponsonby further extended New Zealand's lead with tries, again converted by Holmes. Portia Woodman-Wickliffe made an impactful return from substitution by scoring shortly after entering the match. Spain's Ines Antolinez Fernandez scored a late consolation try, but it was far too little against a dominant New Zealand side. The match showcased New Zealand's attacking prowess and defensive strength throughout the encounter.
