CA Brive secured a convincing 23-8 victory over Dax at Stade Maurice Boyau. Dax initially took the lead with a try from Ben Alla in the 5th minute, but Brive quickly responded with penalties from Cooney to take the advantage. A red card for Dax's Nacika just before halftime put them at a disadvantage. In the second half, Cooney scored a try and conversion, extending Brive's lead. Charcosset added another try for Brive, further sealing their dominance. Dax struggled to regain momentum, even as Hasse Ferreira received a yellow card late in the game. Overall, Brive showcased their strength, overcoming Dax's early momentum and controlling the match effectively.
