Stage: Regular Season Round 2

Stade de la Rabine

RC Vannes secured a convincing 28-9 victory over Soyaux Angouleme at Stade de la Rabine. The home side capitalized on an early yellow card to Vunipola, scoring a try through Ruru shortly after. Lafage converted the try and later contributed with a penalty try, giving Vannes a strong 14-point lead. Angouleme's Glenat received a yellow card, reducing their ability to contend effectively. Despite a red card for Boudehent, Vannes continued to dominate, with Edwards adding another try. Lafage's reliable kicking kept the scoreboard moving. In the closing stages, Schonert sealed the victory with a final try, showcasing Vannes' offensive prowess.
