Soyaux Angouleme secured a narrow 28-23 victory over Dax in a tightly contested Pro D2 match. Dax started strong with an early try from Barrere, converted by Cerisier, putting them ahead 10-0. However, Soyaux Angouleme responded with three tries, including a brace from Dubecq and another from Zouhair, taking a 21-10 lead into halftime. The second half saw Dax fight back with a try from Couget, but Cerisier's inability to convert left them trailing. The clash intensified as both teams faced yellow cards, impacting their momentum. Cerisier's penalties kept Dax within striking distance, but Soyaux Angouleme held firm. Ultimately, Soyaux Angouleme's defensive resilience ensured they maintained their narrow lead to claim victory.
