Oyonnax secured a resounding 55-8 victory over Valence Romans at Stade Charles-Mathon. Sacha Courthaliac opened the scoring with a try in the seventh minute, followed by a successful conversion from Justin Bouraux. Uzair Cassiem showcased his talent with two tries, while Louis Morland also crossed the line twice, contributing significantly to the scoreline. The home side capitalized on Valence Romans' struggles, including a yellow card for Osea Waqaninavatu that hampered their defense. Despite a late consolation try from Dorian Marco-Pena, Valence Romans struggled to keep pace throughout the match. Bouraux's kicking kept the scoreboard ticking, and he finished with multiple conversions. The win solidified Oyonnax's strong performance in the Pro D2 competition.
