Stage: Regular Season Round 6

Stade Maurice Boyau

In a closely contested Pro D2 match, RC Vannes narrowly defeated Dax 16-15 at Stade Maurice Boyau. Vannes opened the scoring with a penalty from Lafage before Boudehent scored a try, which Lafage converted, putting them ahead 10-0. Dax responded with a try from Naseara, followed by another from Leatigaga shortly after halftime, giving them a brief 15-10 lead. However, Vannes regained the lead with a penalty from Bouthier, capitalizing on Dax's indiscipline. Timothe Mezou's yellow card for Vannes and subsequent substitutions affected the flow for both teams. Despite Dax's spirited efforts, they could not reclaim the lead. The match ended with Vannes securing a hard-fought victory, maintaining their momentum in the league.
