Bayonne secured a narrow victory over Section Paloise, finishing 27-22 at the Reale Arena. The match kicked off with Rey scoring an early try for Section Paloise, converted by Desperes, giving them a quick lead. Bayonne responded with two tries from Iturria and Tuilagi, both converted by Segonds, helping them to a 17-10 halftime advantage. In the second half, Bruni extended Bayonne's lead with another try, converted by Lopez. Section Paloise fought back, with Desperes adding penalties but could not close the gap sufficiently. The home team's defense held firm despite several substitutions across both teams. Ultimately, Bayonne's early lead and strong performance from Tuilagi and Bruni clinched the win, avenging their previous defeat to Paloise.
