Stage: Regular Season Round 8

Stade du Pre Fleuri

USON Nevers delivered an impressive performance, defeating Aurillac 62-28 at Stade du Pre Fleuri. The home side's Perry Mayo was a standout, scoring three tries and contributing significantly to the team's attacking prowess. Nevers quickly took control with Mayo's early tries, and Yohan Le Bourhis converted them, showcasing his kicking accuracy. Aurillac struggled to keep pace, responding with penalties from Tedo Abzhandadze but failing to match Nevers' intensity. Despite a few moments of brilliance from Aurillac, including a try from Dominic Robertson-McCoy, they were unable to contain Nevers' relentless attack. The home team maintained their momentum in the second half, with further tries from Atu Manu and Mathys Belaubre. Nevers' victory not only avenged their previous losses to Aurillac but also highlighted their offensive capabilities in the Pro D2 competition.
