Valence vs Aurillac head to head

Valence Romans showcased an impressive performance against Aurillac, winning 53-22 at Stade Georges-Pompidou. Lucas Meret was instrumental, scoring 23 points through tries, conversions, and penalties. The home side raced to a 26-3 lead by the end of the first half, highlighted by Meret's early try and successful conversions. Aurillac managed to respond with a try from Hugo Bastard early in the second half, but Valence continued their onslaught with further tries from Idrissi, Marco-Pena, and McCauley. Aurillac struggled with discipline, receiving multiple yellow cards, which hampered their ability to compete effectively. In the final moments, Thomas Delpeuch scored a consolation try for Aurillac, but it was too late to alter the outcome. This victory reinforced Valence Romans' strong home form in the Pro D2 competition.
