Stade Georges-Pompidou

Valence Romans defeated USON Nevers 13-3 in a tightly contested Pro D2 match at Stade Georges-Pompidou. Lucas Meret was instrumental for the home side, scoring all of their points with two penalties and a conversion after Thembelani Bholi's try. Nevers struggled to find their rhythm, managing only a penalty from Yohan Le Bourhis in the second half. Both teams made numerous substitutions throughout the match, but the changes did not significantly alter the flow of the game. Valence's defense held firm, limiting Nevers to just three points despite several attacking opportunities. The result continued Valence's dominance over Nevers, having won the previous encounter decisively. Overall, it was a game characterized by strong defensive displays and tactical kicking.
